FPEAK CHAIRMAN MAKES A PRESENTATION TO THE SENATE COMMITTEE ON AGRICULTURE

The FPEAK Chairman, Apollo Owour on Friday 21^st June 2019 made a presentation to the Senate Standing committee on Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries on the Crops Act 2013 and also the Agriculture and Food Authority Act 2013. The chairman informed the committee during the workshop held at Boma Hotel, Nairobi that there is need to review these two pieces of legislation in order to create an enabling environment for doing Agriculture business in Kenya. The meeting was also attended by the Principal Secretary, State department for Crop Development and FPEAK CEO, Hosea Machuki among other participants.
