Hosea Machuki
Chief Executive Officer
Hosea Machuki is the Chief Executive Officer of FPEAK. Hosea has over 22 years’ experience in various fields, including in agricultural research, horticulture, natural resources management, biodiversity conservation, food security, irrigation technology, agronomy, agricultural extension and value chains development. He has extensive knowledge and experience in organizational management and administration. Previously, he has worked at the Ministry of Agriculture and for NGOs namely; Self Help Africa, Solidaridad Network and Rainforest Alliance. He has also served as a consultant for many international organizations. He has vast experience working with private sector players both in Kenya and within the East and Southern Africa region. He holds an MSc in Agricultural Extension from Egerton University and a BSc in Agriculture from the University of Nairobi.
Anthony Mutiso
Operations Manager (Technical Manager)
Anthony Mutiso is the Operations Manager (Technical Manager) Fresh Produce exporters association of Kenya. Mr Mutiso has 26 cumulative years working experience in the public sector, Non-Governmental sectors and the Private sector dealing with commercial Horticulture production advocacy, lobbying and Good Agricultural Practises. He is a seasoned capacity building trainer on food safety, crop agronomy, standards and compliance and audit techniques. Anthony is a graduate of Egerton University where he studied Horticulture and has wide exposure in the international horticulture business environment in Europe, Kenya, Tanzania and Namibia.
Carolyne Ayiemba
Finance Officer
Carolyne Ayiemba Riawi is the Finance officer at FPEAK. Carolyne has over 6 years’ experience in accounting, taxation, auditing and finance. She started her career at Mawji Sennik & Company Ltd where she worked for 3 years as an auditor. Carolyne also worked at Ravenzo Trading Ltd for one year in charge of account payables and then spent 3 years and 6 months at Cezam & Associates Ltd as a senior auditor. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) degree from Kenyatta University and is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Finance at The University of Nairobi. Additionally Carolyne is undertaking section five of CPA.
Reakey Seda
Communications & Marketing Officer
As a Communications and Marketing officer at FPEAK, Reakey Seda is responsible for strategic communications planning, knowledge dissemination and outreach to the key markets that we seek to influence. He works primarily in the areas of advocacy and lobbying, capacity building and market linkages and building audiences for the arts. Before joining the association, Reakey served as a brand experience creative for marketing and communications. Reakey spent most of his career in the advertising space. He was the Brand Experience Creative EXP Momentum, where he worked for some years; and before then held similar positions at Xtreme Media Solutions Africa and Events Africa where he also oversaw brand strategies and market activations. Reakey holds an MSc degree in Corporate Communication from Daystar University and a BSc in Graphics Communication & Advertising from Moi University.
Patrice Ngenga
Technical, Standards & Compliance Officer
Patrice Ngenga has over 4 years’ experience in agriculture, horticulture, natural resources management, biodiversity conservation, food security, irrigation technology, agronomy, standards and regulations, agricultural extension and extensive value chains development. He is a trained internal Auditor by IRCA on Certification audits of Various Standards aligned to Agriculture Food Safety and experience in ISO 9001:2008 (Quality Management Systems), Quality Management systems and GLOBALG.A.P. version 5 Public capacity building. He is also experienced and trained to audit and Prepare sites for Standards audits including GLOBALG.A.P. (Fruits and Vegetables Option 1 and 2), GLOBALG.A.P. (Flowers and Ornamental Option) among others. Patrice holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies – Resource Conservation from Kenyatta University.
