In anticipation of the new GLOBALG.A.P. IT platform launch, we would like to share some important information regarding the two-step approach that will guide the transition of our current systems.
Timeline
The new IT platform includes two core systems. CertifierOS – the system for certification bodies (CBs) to manage producer master data (previously notification, registration, and acceptance), conduct audits, and issue certificates – will become fully operational on 1 March 2025.
Supply Chain Portal – the system for validation of certificates, search, and bookmarking services – will launch on 1 April 2025.
Certification Body Administration Tool (CB-AT) will remain unaffected.
Two-step approach
To ensure a smooth transition for all stakeholders, GLOBALG.A.P. is approaching the “go-live” process in two steps.
From 1 March 2025, CBs must manage master data and prepare future audits/work orders in CertifierOS, except where the certification process is ongoing and a certification decision will be made before 1 April. In these cases, certificates will be issued exclusively via the GLOBALG.A.P. database until 31 March.
The management of master data and preparation of new audits from 1 April onwards shall only take place in the new IT platform (i.e., cases where a certification decision will be made after 31 March).
The database and Audit Online Hub will be fully replaced by the new GLOBALG.A.P. IT platform on 1 April. From this date, all certificates will be issued and searchable in the new IT platform only.
