Bio
Frank Obure is a seasoned horticulture professional with over 24 years of experience in the fresh produce industry, spanning vegetables, herbs, avocados, and cut flowers. He currently serves as the General Manager of Packhouses at AAA Growers Limited, where he oversees six processing facilities, including three vegetable packhouses, one avocado packhouse, and two flower packhouses.
Throughout his career, Frank has built extensive expertise in process optimization, product quality management, product development, food safety systems, and social compliance. He has a strong track record in the implementation and management of internationally recognized standards, including GlobalG.A.P., BRCGS, SMETA-ETI, Fairtrade Hired Labour, M&S Field to Fork, Tesco Food Manufacturing Standards, and MPS-ABC.
Frank has worked closely with leading retailers and buyers across the United Kingdom, Europe, the Middle East, as well as regional and local markets, providing him with a deep understanding of international market requirements and supply chain dynamics.
His extensive industry experience and commitment to excellence continue to contribute to the growth, sustainability, and competitiveness of Kenya’s horticulture sector.
He holds qualifications in Food Science and Technology and Business Administration and is currently pursuing an MBA in Strategic Management at Daystar University
